Cereals & Europe   ...your gateway to the cereal network in Europe...
Cereals & Europe is a fresh, dynamic and informal network for individual pan-European Cereal Scientists and Technologists (cerealists). To be forward moving and looking, we stimulate future cerealists to become part of our network. We try to be an effective network, with a twinge of unruliness, by organising  low cost activities, either formal or informal. We recognise that the social component is one of the essences of networking.   As a regional section of AACC International, Cereals & Europe has a formal link to AACC International. As a European network of individuals, we also intend to co-operate closely with the International Association for Cereal Science and Technology (ICC) and with local cereal associations or groups.
Accomplishments
§         Cereals & Europe is the portal to the largest European cereal network. More than 400 pan-European cereal scientists and technologists connect by regular e-mail Newsletters and through the web site (http://www.cerealsandeurope.net). §         Cereals & Europe facilitates young cerealists in traveling to meetings (by boosting AACC International travel grants) and networking (low cost annual European Young Cereal Scientists and Technologist Workshop). This initiative is enthusiastically sponsored by a broad range of multinational and local cereal processing companies. §         Cereals & Europe facilitates and organises workshops and symposia at various meetings of AACC International, ICC, AOCS, etc. §         Cereals & Europe enhances contacts between cerealists by organising appropriate social events. §         Cereals & Europe networks with local cereal organisations.
