AACC International
AACC International has taken on the challenge to become a truly international organization.
- In recent years, the organization has already done a tremendous amount
of work through its International Executive Council (IEC). The IEC advises
the Board of Directors on international matters. It is fed with ideas and
input by the International Member Forum, which consists of the
representatives of all the international sections of AACC International and
which is also open to anyone else interested. The task of the IMF is to
identify needs, questions and opportunities to help reach out to the cereal
community all over the world.

approval to become a legal organization itself. This step then could become
a model for developing activities for other regions. The Board of Directors
decided to install a Task Force to look into the matter more profoundly.
Decision currently postponed.
- With a European president in 2007, the organization has held its first major cereal science and industry meeting in Europe. C&E has taken the lead in this and with success. Mark your calendars for March 2009 for the C&E Spring Meeting 2009!
- CDE Membership: AACC Intl has launched a special membership category at a steeply discounted fee for cerealists living in countries with developing economies. Go to http://www.aaccnet.org/membership/becomemember.asp for more information.
