Student Travel Boosters for AACC International’s Annual Meeting

This is how it works:

PhD students who want to present a paper (lecture or poster) at the AACC International Annual Meeting or who only want to attend the meeting should become an AACC International Student member (€ 32) as well as a C&E- member (€ 12).

Both memberships are easy to obtain. Just fill out the forms you’ll find by clicking on the links above and send it with your payment to the address indicated.

An AACC International Student Membership will give you access to all AACC International services, a free subscription to Cereal Foods World and an on-line subscription to Cereal Chemistry. Your registration fee for the Annual Meeting will be substantially reduced as well. You’ll also be able to get in touch with your peers from all over the world.

As a Student Member you can apply for financial support to travel to the Annual Meeting through the AACC International Student Travel Fund Award.

For paper presenters, you’ll be requested to send an Application Form (Cereal Foods World March-April) and a hard copy of your Abstract submitted for the Annual Meeting to Dr. Michael Tilley.

For non-presenters, send the Application Form and a letter stating the reason you plan to attend the annual meeting.

Send to:

Micheal Tilley
Student Travel Award Committee
c/o USDA/ARS
Grain Marketing and Production Research Centre
1515 College Avenue
Manhattan, KS, 66502 USA

The deadline for submission of the Application forms and letters usually is at the end of June. Everyone who applies, will receive a grant!!!

Once the Student Travel Fund Award will have assigned the grants of $100 for a non- presenter and $150 for a paper presenter, the winners will be notified. That notification can be forwarded to C&E to apply for the 10 available “Boosters” of €150 each. C&E will assign the grants on a first come, first serve basis!!!
